Anthony Jones, is an American comedian, writer, producer, actor and television host/personality. Anthony is the creator and host of the "Why U Mad Yo?" comedy show and reality documentary-series "It's a Ant Jones World" currently broadcasting on FreecastTV on the UrbanTV channel 3844. Realizing his passion for stand up, Jones began his career in 2014 after the passing of his father using comedy as a place of peace. His routines are fun and loose and grounded in self deprecation and storytelling. His southern and Caribbean roots provides a source of a diverse perspective and his likability allows him to connect with audiences. Jones is always having fun while performing. He has appeared in multiple shows on MTV, including "Club MTV", "MTV Unplugged". He recently wrote and performed his first comedy special "FLEXIN" freely available on antjonesworld.com and Youtube/@antjonesworld. Hailed as one of the best hosts and interviewers in NYC, began his career with an original live on the street interview show called "Mic Check" and has interviewed celebrities of all levels including Rotimi, Nona Hendricks, Pappoose, Menudo, Whoopi Goldberg and a plethora of up and coming stars and reality TV personalities. He is best known for the creation of one of the largest indie artist music festivals in New York City called "OCKTOBERFEST", which was big on providing next level opportunities for aspiring artists with MTV, VH1, BET, The Apollo Theatre, American Idol and more.
